Learn to Read with Zeb is a series designed to encourage children ages 3-8 in learning to read. The fun characters and humorous stories are presented in a sequential order based on phonics skills.
There are four volumes. Volume 1 introduces three letter, short vowel sounds and sight words. Volume 2 introduces long vowel sounds, a review of the short vowel sounds presented in the first volume, as well as additional sight words. Volume 3 introduces blends and diagraphs along with a review of skills introduced in pervious volumes. Finally, Volume 4 introduces “r” controlled vowels, compound words, and includes a review of the previous 3 volumes. Learn to Read with Zeb is intended to help your child reach a 1st or 2nd grade reading level!
Zeb Books recognizes that many children learn to read through phonics, and these books were such a success at her own school that Carol Zerboni was motivated to produce them into a series for children all over the world.
